On October 12th, 2016 the Austrian national committee of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA) staged its 10th Tunnel Day at the Salzburg Congress Centre in conjunction with its members – the Austrian Society for Geomechanics (ÖGG), Austrian Tunnel Association (ATA), Austrian Society for Construction Technology (öbv), Austrian Research Association for  Road and Rail Traffic (FSV) and the Austrian Society of Engineers and Architects (ÖIAV).
