14–16 October 2021: 70th Geomechanics Colloquium in Salzburg
The board of the Austrian Society for Geomechanics has decided to hold the Geomechanics Colloquium 2021 as a physical event at the Salzburg Congress Centre. As there might again be some restrictions in relation to a maximum number of allowed participants and travel, there will be also a possibility to participate virtually.
The annual geomechanics colloquium has developed as an important meeting point for experts in Central Europe. The event with the associated exhibition annually attracts over 800 participants, making it one of the largest events in the field of geomechanics worldwide.
Due to the pandemic, the 69th Geomechanics Colloquium in 2020 was held in a virtual format. It was a successful meeting, but naturally it could not replace a “real” conference.
From 14 to 16 October 2021, the 70th Geomechanics Colloquium will take place at the Salzburg Congress Centre. In addition, it is also possible to participate in the lectures online
