Weinberg Tunnel – Crossing the Limmat

The tunnel boring machine (TBM) used for producing the 2-track Weinberg Tunnel arrived at the for the time being final stopping point under the Zähringerstraße at the Central Station as scheduled after driving 4.1 km. Work commenced roughly 1 ½ years ago and have run so far according to schedule and in keeping with the financial plan.
