STRABAG redevelops the Oswaldiberg Tunnel

In September 2015 the ASFINAG embarked on the general redevelopment of the Oswaldiberg Tunnel on the A10 Tauern Motorway. In July the Austrian contractor STRABAG had been commissioned to tackle this construction project worth nearly 34 million euros. “By summer 2017, the two tunnel tubes will have been brought up to date technically in terms of their electrical and safety facilities as well as structurally”, ASFINAG CEO Alexander Walcher asserts.
