New Ebensfeld-Erfurt Rail Route: Lohmeberg and Feuerfelsen Tunnels

Work on producing 2 further tunnels on the 107 km long new rail route (NBS) between Ebensfeld and Erfurt with a designated speed of 300 km/h has begun. The route is part of the 500 km long new and upgraded Nuremberg-Erfurt/Halle line, the German Unity transport project No. 8.
