The 30-kW strong cutter was employed for the main demolition work. Such robust and powerful units – Type WS30 were able to reveal their real potential on concrete with a 65 to 75 MPa degree of hardness

Four Terex hydraulic cutting units had a central role to play in renovating the Michaelstunnel, a 2.5 km long road tunnel in Baden-Baden/D. A total of 27 million euros was invested to redevelop and renovate the busy, 2-lane tunnel. This included the planning of a new ventilation system, additional evacuation tunnels and installing a fireproof tunnel ceiling.
