Refurbishment with Fibre Concrete
In the course of the refurbishment of the Swiss Zuben Tunnel on the Grimsel Pass road near Innertkirchen, the existing chloride-damaged concrete lining of the road tunnel, which was built in the 1960s, was partially broken out, the existing reinforcement was cleaned and replaced where necessary. Furthermore a new waterproofing layer and a new inner lining of fibre-reinforced shotcrete was installed.
