InnoTrans 2018 offers latest Tunnel Technology and Ideas Dialogue
Whoever thinks that the InnoTrans is only concerned with trains and tracks can learn otherwise from 18 to 21 September 2018. The world’s leading trade fair for railway transport technology has now also gained a fixed position in the calendars of tunnellers. Since 2006, there has been a segment for Tunnel Construction on the Berliner Messe site in Hall 5.2, close by the segment Railway Infrastructure. Tunnel experts can find a wide palette of services and products for tunnel construction, lining, fitting out and tunnel maintenance, including construction products and materials, TBM technology and engineering services.
Numerous new exhibitors will be looking for a global marketplace for their business goals this September at the InnoTrans. These include the Globus Drahtseil und Maschinen- und Stahlbau Dresden from Germany, Geodata Engineering from Italy and Ultra-Fog from Sweden. The manufacturer SangSangDom will be coming from South Korea to present the latest scientific studies and technology in the field of fine particle reduction. „Our aim is to considerably reduce the fine particle concentration in tunnels. Real time monitoring systems for air quality and electronic devices and tunnel vehicles used specially for fine particle reduction can be of assistance here“, says Kim Jung Hoon from SangSangDom.
The list of exhibitors for 2018 is also graced by many long-term and well-known exhibitors CFT GmbH Compact Filter Technic, Herrenknecht, Fogtec Brandschutz, SSF Ingenieure and NORKA from Germany Consilium Marine & Safety from Sweden and Talleres Zitron from Spain. From Switzerland, Brügger and GIFAS-Electric will attend.
As in previous years, the International Tunnel Forum will widen the knowledge of expert visitors about current topics in the industry. This is organised to accompany the exhibition by the STUVA, the German Research Association for Tunnels and Transportation Facilities.
