InnoTrans 2024 With Tunnel Exhibition Segment and the International Tunnel Forum
InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for transport technology. It is held every two years in Berlin. The 14th InnoTrans will take place from 24 to 27 September 2024 at the Berlin ExpoCenter City exhibition grounds. One of the highlights of the accompanying event programme in 2024 will once again be the International Tunnel Forum, organised by the STUVA.

Divided into the five segments Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 42 halls of the Berlin Exhibition Centre. Like two years ago, a large turnout is expected again: in 2022, 2771 exhibitors were on location and more than 132 000 visitors were counted over the four days of the trade fair. The InnoTrans Convention, the event‘s high-profile supporting programme, complements the trade fair and will be streamed live.

InnoTrans provides a concentrated overview of recent developments throughout the entire mobility industry. Combined within the Tunnel Construction segment is a wide-ranging portfolio encompassing planning, new construction, and the maintenance of railway tunnels using the most innovative technical equipment. The choice of subject matters creates synergies, in particular through the proximity to the adjoining Railway Infrastructure segment.

International Tunnel Forum
Over the years, the InnoTrans Convention has established itself as an international meeting place for decision-makers from business, politics and transport. With top-class panel discussions and expert rounds on current and future-relevant mobility topics, the InnoTrans Convention is the platform for an exchange at an international level. Five dialogue forums (Rail Leaders‘ Summit, International Design Forum, International Tunnel Forum, Public Transport Forum, DB Innovation Forum, International Bus Forum) will be offered as part of the InnoTrans Convention.
For industry insiders, one of the highlights of the InnoTrans Convention in 2024 will once again be the International Tunnel Forum, which has been organised by STUVA e. V. since 2008. The forum addresses current issues in the industry in a compact format. High-calibre experts will discuss cutting-edge issues relating to mobility and tunnelling with a knowledgeable audience.
While on Wednesday, 25 September the focus will be on the key future topic of “Sustainability in Tunnelling”, on Thursday, 26 September the focus will be on “Challenges in Tunnelling”. The STUVA events will take place on both days in the CityCube Berlin, level 3, M8 and will be moderated by the Managing Director of STUVA, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roland Leucker.
