Until 2027: TÜV Nord Recertifies STUVAtec as Creator of Fire Protection Concepts for DB InfraGO
Reliable fire protection plays a particularly important role in underground stations of Deutsche Bahn (DB). That is why DB InfaGo AG together with TÜV Nord has created an elaborate certification procedure for companies that want to act as creators of fire protection concepts for the DB.
Since 2007, STUVAtec has been a member of DB AG‘s exclusive pool of experts for the preparation of fire protection concepts. In May 2024 it had to undergo recertification by TÜV Nord, which is due every three years. The result is impressive: With 99 out of 100 theoretically possible points, STUVAtec GmbH achieved an exceptionally good scoring and was therefore recertified for the fifth time in a row without any problems. This means that STUVAtec can continue its successful work for DB in full until the next audit in 2027.
During the full-day certification audit, it was thoroughly examined whether the employees were sufficiently qualified and had taken part in additional training. Adequate references, the internal company structure, software and hardware equipment, quality management and many other points were scrutinised by the TÜV and rated as very good.
