WTC 2019: 730 Papers received by the Scientific Committee

Since September 23, 2018 the Call for Papers for the World Tunnel Congress 2019 in Naples, Italy, is closed; the Scientific Committee reported the receipt of 730 papers. The number of scientific contributions received is significantly higher than those received at the previous World Congresses held in San Francisco (2016), Bergen (2017) and Dubai (2018). „Given the high quality of papers,” says Daniele Peila, professor at the Polytechnic of Turin and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of WTC 2019, “it will be really difficult to choose the ones to be presented orally“.
