STUVA Conference 2017
The next STUVA conference will take place from 6 to 8 December 2017 in Stuttgart. At this “family meeting of the tunnelling industry”, more than 1800 high-ranking experts will attend and altogether 65 lectures will provide them with the opportunity to find out about the latest developments.
After the great success of the STUVA Conference 2015, this year’s event once again will cover not only tunnelling but also tunnel operation. In parallel to the lectures, the STUVA Expo will provide an exciting and versatile exhibition with more then 180 exhibitors on an area of 7000 m² giving an impressive insight into the innovation power of the tunnelling industry and offering interesting new business contacts. The third day of the STUVA Conference will then as always be devoted to selected specialist excursions.
One highlight of the STUVA Conference is the festive evening, since a well cared-for network is one of the most important factors for success in the profession and lives from a relaxed exchange of thoughts and experience among colleagues. In a pleasant atmosphere, existing contacts can be deepened and new contacts made.
The German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt) and the German Tunnelling Committee (DAUB) have this year once again expressed their confidence in the STUVA Conference by providing their ideal collaboration with the organisers. This strong support identifies the STUVA Conference as an excellent event.
Be there when the doors open on 6 December for the „International Forum for Tunnel and Infrastructure“, the largest meeting of the tunnelling industry in the world. The STUVA Conference will be of benefit for you and provide you with many positive new impulses. You can find the conference programme on the following pages.
New STUVA Forum
for young Engineers
At this year‘s STUVA Conference, the newly founded “STUVA Forum for Young Engineering Professionals” will meet for the first time. The forum is aimed at all young engineers up to 35 years old with the objective of supporting their entry into the working environment and integration into the community of engineers. This should be achieved through better networking and the exchange of experience. At regular workshops, current developments in the industry should be discussed and interesting projects visited. Participation is free. The meeting will take place on the first day of the event during the midday break.
