NCC commissioned to construct Norwegian Bjørnegård Tunnel

The Swedish construction company NCC has been commissioned by the Norwegian Road Administration to construct the Bjørnegård Tunnel on the E16 expressway between Sandvika and Wøyen in Norway. The order amounts to approximately 135 million euros. The E16 is one of Norway’s busiest two-lane highways and the primary link between Oslo and Bergen. The Bjørnegård Tunnel as a part of the new expressway will help to improve accessibility and enhance traffic safety, while also contributing to the development of Sandvika.
