For the third time in a row – after 2015 in
Switzerland and 2016 in Singapore – the world of tunnelling celebrated itself and its achievements. The occasion was provided by the
AFTES Congress on November 15, 2017 in Paris (France). The very best was presented in eight categories and in each case a triumphant victor was honoured (Fig. 1).
