On the approx. 35 hectare site of the former American military housing estate Gateway Gardens in close proximity to Frankfurt Airport, a new city quarter is being developed with office and conference buildings, hotels, gastronomy, specialist shops and local shops. When the new quarter is complete, up to 18 000 people should work there.

The 4 km long “S-Bahn” urban rapid transit link to Gateway Gardens is part of the infrastructure development programme “Frankfurt Rhein Main plus”, which is being implemented by the State of Hesse, the region, the City of Frankfurt am Main, the Rhein-Main...
